Welcome Class of 2011! Welcome back Class of 2010!

At one point or another in our HBS careers, we all ask ourselves very important questions: How will I impact the world? What role will I play in giving back to my community? When is the right time for me to devote more time and/or resources to serving others?

The answer will be different for each one of us. Some will engage in philanthropy and/or serve on nonprofit boards. Others will pursue careers in the nonprofit or government sectors. Still others will work to build partnerships between the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, or work from within the private sector to leverage business tools to achieve social impact.

The Social Enterprise Club seeks to inspire, empower and enable students to create social value and connect them with individuals and organizations tackling critical social issues in the non-profit, public and for-profit sectors. The club aims to strengthen the presence and voice of social enterprise at Harvard Business School, cultivate a strong club community of socially-conscious students, and deepen partnerships at HBS (with other clubs, professors, alumni and the Social Enterprise Initiative), across the University and within the broader SE community.
